In the morning as the sun shines through the leaves and butterflies do their thing, the cheeky chatter of monkeys fills the air; then, at dusk the cicadas start their familiar and hypnotic chorus.
With the chaotic CBD in the background, this is an intriguing and tranquil little pocket of Singapore that never fails to calm yet galvanise me.
