UPDATED: 14 Sept, to change venue from Gardens by the Bay to Fort Canning Park
Dust down your old school uniforms, neon leggings and retro wigs -- the annual 80s Retrolicious outdoor mega concert is back.
Four acts -- former 80s favourites Wang Chung, Tiffany, Howard Jones and Alphaville will headline this year's gig on 6 October 2012. The annual retro concert, back in its third year, will be held at Fort Canning Park.
Another crowd pleaser is set to be sing-along favourite and karaoka hit "Forever Young" by German synth-pop band Alphaville.
"There is something about the 80's that we will never forget. For many people, it represents a time of evolution, free-spiritedness, mad hairstyles, fashion, and possibly, the best decade of music," said Beatrice Chia-Richmond, creative director of event organisers Running Into the Sun.
Tickets are priced at $125 each while limited VIP tickets go for $225.
Tickets will be available for sale at all Sistic counters from 3 August while M1 customers enjoy priority discounts of 20 per cent between 3-12 August.
