11 Sep – With the investigation regarding Justin Lee sex scandal still going around, it was revealed that the Taiwanese Police have been making several arrests.

As reported on Asianbite website, the Police apprehended 12 people, including several university students in Tainan, for allegedly circulating and distributing videos and photos of that were recorded by Taiwanese socialite Justin Lee - earlier arrested for date-rape cases involving over 50 women, including several Taiwanese celebrities and models.

The Police revealed that the 12 suspects have been referred to prosecutors for further questioning in order to ascertain whether they will be charged for hurting social morality and disclosing unauthorised secrets, in which the punishment is a maximum five-year imprisonment.

Meanwhile, the 27-year-old Lee is still under questioning by public prosecutors since detention on 23 August after hiding in late July when the photographs were widely circulated on the Internet. The socialite is still resolute about his innocence in regards to claims that he had drugged and raped the women he had filmed, insisting it was consensual sex and they agreed to be filmed.

However, prosecutors challenged his claims, citing testimonies by the victims that have came forward to accuse Lee of rape.

Lee has been detained since surrendering to police on August 23. He went into hiding in late July after the sexual images he had taken were widely circulated on the Internet.
