21 Apr – Scottish actor Alan Cumming has been in Malaysia since Monday for a holiday, as well as to reconnect with his roots by visiting the street named after his grandfather in Cha'ah.

The village of Cha'ah is located in Johor, and there is a street named Jalan Darling Walk, named in his grandfather, Thomas Darling's honour. The Hollywood star's journey was documented in UK channel BBC's "Who Do You Think You Are" show, where eventually he discovered that Thomas, also known as Tam to his military service mates, died tragically during a game of Russian Roulette.

Besides starring in UK television shows, Cumming is also a stage and film actor, singer, writer, director, producer and author. Fans may recognize him for his turn as Fegan Floop in the "Spy Kids" films and Kurt Wagner/Nightcrawler in "X2: X-Men United".

He currently appears as Eli Gold on American television legal drama "The Good Wife", for which he has earned several nominations.
