EN Star Style - Alicia Keys wants women to understand beauty is about diversity.

The 33-year-old singer is the face of Givenchy's new scent Dahlia Divin and is seen rocking a gold crystal embossed dress by creative director Riccardo Tisci in the accompanying campaign.

As well as loving the campaign, Alicia hopes she is showing women that the notion of what is attractive in the industry is changing.

"Charisma, strength, confidence and, more importantly, inner beauty that radiates on the outside - the idea that a woman's true beauty lies in the way her elegance and soul shine on the outside," she told British magazine Hello!, when asked what beauty means to her. "We are all goddesses. It's important to remind women that true beauty is full of diversity and we all have a multitude of shades to us."

Alicia doesn't see beauty in make-up or in the clothes women wear, insisting much of it is about an attitude. She believes it also comes from how ladies treat themselves, insisting the importance of making time for yourself can't be ignored.

"Well, as a woman, I know how important it is to take care of yourself by honouring your mind and body with things that fuel your soul," she said. "This is the essence of feeling truly beautiful in life. In my work, I try to inspire women to feel their inner and outer beauty and take time for themselves in a way that empowers them to be the best versions they can be of themselves. When a woman feels confident and balanced on the inside, she is truly beautiful to the world."

For Alicia, that means ensuring she has enough time to exercise. Having a healthy body and mind makes her feel her best, she believes because that comes from taking care of herself properly.
