26 Apr – The Japanese Queen of Pop Amuro Namie has announced that she would be releasing a new album for her 20th anniversary as a recording artist; her first in two and a half years since the international chart topper "PAST FUTURE" in 2009.

According to Tokyo Hive, the yet-to-be titled new album is one of the items from the line of projects for her 20th anniversary. The album will have 13 songs, four of which are new songs, including a full English song titled 'Only You'.

"The album has been created to be enjoyed by everyone and enhance their mood. From this album, "ONLY YOU" has been picked up as the WOWOW's European football theme song, so I'm honoured," Amuro said.

Also included in the CD plus DVD edition of the album will be an unprecedented 11 MVs from the singer.

A special documentary is also planned as a pre-commemoration of Amuro's 20th anniversary that will be broadcast by WOWOW.

Meanwhile, tickets for her 'Namie Amuro 20th Anniversary Live in Okinawa' concert were sold out in just five minutes. The concert is set to create history with the most audience for a solo artist when 27,000 of them turn up on 16 September.
