Ben Affleck has joked he is obsessed with Brad Pitt as he "loves the way he looks".

The Hollywood star recently opened up about his infatuation with Brad, calling him the "perfect man and actor". While Ben was actually praising Brad's artistic talents, he knows some people think he has a crush on his fellow actor.

Ben has embraced the gossip, explaining he'd love to live a day in Brad's shoes.

"I love Brad Pitt. I think he’s amazing," he told Access Hollywood at last night's Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards. "I love the way he looks, I’m not going to lie! I think he’s awesome. If I could be somebody, it’d definitely be Brad Pitt."

Ben has been enjoying a stellar awards season, with his directorial effort Argo picking up some top prizes. It was named best ensemble movie at the SAG Awards last night, with Ben picking up the best director Golden Globe earlier this month. The release is in the running for seven Academy Awards, including the coveted best picture gong.

The actor was amazed to receive his Golden Globe trophy and made some omissions during his speech. Although he thanked his wife Jennifer Garner for her support, he forgot to pay tribute to the film's producers George Clooney and Grant Heslov.

Thankfully, Jennifer was able to help dig him out of the hole.

"[Jennifer] was presenting the next award, so I went scrambling around backstage and I went, ‘Thank George and Grant for me,’” he laughed. “[I] narrowly made it under the wire. Otherwise I never would have heard the end of it!”
