16 Jun – Newly minted Oscar winner for best actor Jean Dujardin is currently in talks to play a role in Martin Scorsese's upcoming film "Wolf of Wall Street", an adaptation of the memoirs of high-rolling stockbroker Jordan Belfort by Terence Winter.

According to Variety, Dujardin is offered to play the role of a Swiss banker that is responsible for laundering money for Belfort, who will be played by Leonardo DiCaprio.

Kyle Chandler from "Super 8" will be playing an FBI agent that builds the case against Belfort that leads to his arrest, while Oscar nominee Jonah Hill of "Moneyball" has already been confirmed to take the role of Belfort's friend and business partner.

"Wolf of Wall Street" tells the rise and fall of Jordan Belfort as a stockbroker starting in the 1980s who became a multimillionaire by 26 where he led a life of excess greed and hard partying, until he was convicted of securities fraud in 1998 and imprisoned for 22 months.

A release date for Malaysia and Singapore is yet to be confirmed at time of publication but is expected for a late 2013 entry.
