11 May – It was somewhat a surprise for fans to find out that Big Bang's G-Dragon was once an SM Entertainment trainee.

According to Kpopseven, in the 8 May episode of Mnet's "Wide Entertainment News", it was revealed that YG Entertainment's golden child had joined SNSD's agency before at the tender age of eight to become a singer.

However, the rapper then was taken in by YG Entertainment to form the now world famous group, Big Bang.

In addition to G-Dragon, the show also revealed background stories of other stars', including "Deep Rooted Tree" actor Song Joong-ki who almost debuted with an idol group.
