Gerard Butler reportedly attended a "wild" private party to celebrate the end of this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

The actor joined fellow A-Listers including Cuba Gooding Jr. and Adrien Brody at the glamorous bash hosted by famed New York club owner and restaurateur Richie Akiva and others.

The black tie affair was held at a private mansion and attracted a crowd of stars including Zac Efron, Karolina Kurková and Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld.

“They went through hundreds of bottles of Champagne and vodka. They ordered 200 pizzas that were devoured by women in ball gowns and partied until the sun came up,” a source told the New York Post.

The sunny weather on the French Riviera may have also helped to melt the ice between rumoured frenemies Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian.

The pair are said to be locked in a private feud after their friendship drifted apart over the years, but there was no sign of animosity when they bumped into each other at the amfAR gala at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes.

The reality stars “hugged, smiled and chatted for a while,” an onlooker told the New York Post, while another source added: “They really have no problem with each other; it has been a long time.”
