Gwen Stefani says “anyone” can wear animal print.

The No Doubt singer enjoys dressing fashionably and always takes care when putting her look together. She knows some people are scared to experiment, but insists certain items suit everyone.

“I think everyone can do animal print and red lipstick. You just have to be brave. Clothes are an extension of your personality and your mood,” she explained.

Gwen’s red lips have become her signature. She’s previously admitted part of the reason she’s stuck with the look is because her husband Gavin Rossdale loves it so much.

Someone else close to the star encouraged her to dabble with cosmetics when she was growing up.

“One Christmas, my grandma bought me a bunch of different lipstick colors and I tried them all on. I remember thinking, ‘That red looks good! I’m gonna wear that,’” she recalled to Look magazine. “And I never stopped. I like the vintage Hollywood look – I’ve worn a billion versions of red and I wear pink a lot.”
