15 Aug – Hawick Lau and Yang Mi were recently named the most valuable celebrity couple in China.

As reported on Hunan TV, in conjunction with Qixi Festival, Anhui TV recently compiled a list of the most powerful celebrity couples in China, based on their combined salary and star power.

Hawick Lau and Yang Mi nabbed the top spot as the most valuable couple with a combined value of RMB 3.2 million (app. USD 522,909), after calculating the couple's success as individuals – both of them own a production studio – and their achievements together in various drama series.

The next couple holding on to the second spot is Huang Xiaoming and Angelababy, with both stars having a successful career in movies and the modelling world, totalling their joint-worth of RMB 3 million (app. USD 490,227).

Meanwhile, third place goes to Wen Zhang and Ma Yili with RMB 2.6 million, fourth with Jia Nailiang and Li Xiaolu with RMB 2.2 million, and Hans Zhang and Zheng Shuang in fifth with RMB 2 million.

Meanwhile, newlyweds Yan Kuan and Sunny Du placed eight with net value of RMB 1.5 million.
