Jennifer Lopez’s “slick” braided bun is easy to achieve at home, says a top stylist.

The stunning star is famed for wearing her long locks in a variety of styles. Jennifer looks just as gorgeous with her tresses loose and volumised or tied back.

Celebrity hairdresser James Pecis says the star’s slicked back bun is an easy style to re-create.

“Start with clean, straight hair (straighten hair if it’s not already),” he advised in an interview with Glamour magazine.

“Brush your hair into a tight ponytail. For a slick look, use hairspray and comb the hairline.”

James then explained to “take a section of the ponytail” and plait it to create the pretty style.

“Use a gel to keep the plait together,” he added.

James insists that holding the look together is key. The stylist-to-the-stars advises having hair pins on hand to complete the style.

“Twist the remaining hair into a bun around the ponytail base and secure it flat with hair pins,” he said. “Then wrap the plait around the bun.”
