21 Jul - Singer Jung-ah was finally confirmed to be After School's new leader after former leader Ka-hi left the group in June.

According to Allkpop website, while the news is already known by many, this time around, After School's agency, Pledis Entertainment has made the official confirmation.

Representatives of the agency remarked, "After gathering the opinions of the After School members, we have decided to select Jung-ah as the new leader. As the most senior member of the group, we expect Jung-ah to do well as a leader."

Before this, a lot of fans have been speculating that another member, Nana will be taking on the role after Pledis confirmed that Park Ka-hi will be leaving the group – or "graduating from the group", as the After School system puts it.

Meanwhile, the group recently made a comeback for the first time in a year with their fifth maxi single "Flashback" sans Ka-hi. They also added a new member, Ga-eun into the group.
