29 Sep – Since the production team of MBC's "We Got Married" announced that they will be creating three more celebrity couples for the reality show, rumour has been spreading about the possibility of Super Junior's Lee-teuk and actress Kang So-ra to be one of the show's three confirmed couples, and that filming would begin on 30 September.
According to allkpop website, the producers of "We Got Married" are denying such reports, stating, "Reports of Lee-teuk and Kang So-ra joining the show are groundless. We're actually very shocked to see dates being mentioned that even the producers have no idea about. None of it is real."
It was even mentioned that girl group SISTAR's Hyo-rin was confirmed for the show, and fans have been busy drawing up names for her partner. Producers remain adamant about keeping everything a secret until the day of filming.
The producers added, "We're working on getting the three couples to film this weekend or the beginning of next week. To keep the show fun, we won't be revealing who."
They continued, "There are a lot of reports saying that celebrities we don't even know are confirmed for the show. How upset would the stars be to see that they might be on the show but are actually not? Please refrain from spreading such rumours."
"We Got Married" is a popular reality variety show, first broadcasted in 2008. In the show, Korean celebrities were paired up to show what life would be like if they were married. Each week, couples are assigned missions to complete, with candid interviews of the participants to reveal their thoughts and feelings.
Among their celebrity couples were CNBlue's Jung Yong-hwa and SNSD's Seo-hyun, rapper Crown J and Jewelry's Seo In-young and 2AM's Jo-kwon and BEG's Ga-in.
