25 Feb – TVB actress and cancer survivor Mandy Lam has recently tied the knot with her boyfriend of 13 years.

According to Groove Asia, on 22 February, the 37-year-old actress married her boyfriend, Chan Chung Yuen, 40, in a ceremony that was held at an unnamed church in Hong Kong, presided by businessman, Francis Choi.

Several celebrity friends also attended the ceremony, including Wong Cho Lam and his girlfriend Leanne Li, Grace Wong, Queenie Chu, Elena Kong and Macy Chan. Zac Koo, Wong Cho Lam and Angela Pang performed a few songs while Leanne and Timothy Cheng were responsible in reading the bible during ceremony.

After the ceremony, Mandy expressed that her wedding was better than expected, saying, "I felt so emotional when they talked about the past. Being able to be here today was definitely not easy."

When asked why she chose Mr. Choi to manage the ceremony, Mandy revealed, "My family in Canada were unable to come to personally witness my marriage because of an urgent matter. The first person that came to mind was Uncle Choi. He treats me like a daughter and I thought that he really fitted the role. He agreed without hesitation."

As for whether they are planning for a baby this year, Mandy, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010, revealed that she is still on medication and it would be difficult, but stated, "My husband loves children, I don't know whether I'm going to disappoint him or not. Fortunately, he didn't think that was a shortcoming, so let God destine it for us."
