Minka Kelly would hate to spend Valentine’s Day in a restaurant “full of people”.

The actress rekindled her romance with Hollywood hunk Chris Evans last summer and has discussed her plans for the romantic holiday on February 14. Minka prefers a low-key celebration and avoids public places.

“At home,” she told Parade.com when asked to describe her ideal Valentine’s Day. “I think if you're going to have any sort of romance, I don't want to share it with a restaurant full of people I don't know."

The 32-year-old actress also confessed she was “still trying to find” her own traditions for the romantic date.

Minka first found fame in US TV show Friday Night Lights, where she played wholesome cheerleader Lyla Garrity. She then went on to appear alongside Leighton Meester in The Roommate and TV show Charlie’s Angels.

Minka has fond memories of her time working on Friday Night Lights, which followed a high school American football team in Texas. The show also starred Taylor Kitsch, Connie Britton and Kyle Chandler, and Minka says she would jump at the chance to reprise her role for a big screen adaption of the series.

"If the script makes sense, and it was a good story, it would be great. I think it would also be fine left where it is. I have heard from a lot of people that they would love the movie, and if it made sense, and it was the right story, and everyone wanted to do it, then I think that would be great,” she explained. “I think [executive producer] Jason Katims needs to find the time to write the script, and he's a very busy guy these days. I'm just waiting around for that script."

Despite enjoying her time on Friday Night Lights, Minka admits she has drifted apart from most of her co-stars from the show.

"Over the last few years, I've sort of lost touch with all those guys,” she added. “Every so often, we will check in with each other and make sure we're all doing OK, and I think we all support each other in what we're doing now. I just ran into Adrianne Palicki, and there's a certain bond that we all have. That was such a special experience, and for a lot of us, our first experience in this business, so I think we're all sort of connected forever."
