Perfectly polished skin

Fabulous femininity ruled the runways at Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Dior's Spring/Summer 12 shows.

And the beauty look that really set off the designs? Ultra-ladylike make-up and perfectly polished skin.

We caught up with celebrity make-up artist Jackie Tyson to find out her top tips for a fabulously luminous glow.

“To achieve a beautifully polished runway look, you need that porcelain skin finish,” she told Cover Media.

“For this you need to apply a good foundation that is going to cover and give a slight sheen highlight. And most importantly you’ll need a good powder to set the look.”

Here are Jackie’s suggestions:

Mac Studio Fix Powder

A powder and foundation in one that combines good coverage with ease of application. Designed to be used dry, the powder and pigments create a matte, velvety texture.

Avon Ideal Shade Smooth Mineral Foundation

This lightweight powder foundation contains 100 per cent naturally derived pigments and creates a luminous, flawless finish.

Make Up For Ever HD Powder

HD Powder is a unique, extremely fine powder available in one universal shade to make skin absolutely radiant.

Givenchy Prisme Libre

Four shades of powder merge to illuminate the complexion with an ultra-soft texture, extremely fine and translucent thanks to two unique ingredients.

Avon Ideal Shade Powder

Easy to blend oil-free pressed powder for a matte look. It doesn't cake and stays in place for hours.
