16 Jan – The 2012 Miss Hong Kong second runner-up, Tracy Chu, has confirmed that she will play a role in a new TVB drama.
Groove Asia reported that while attending the TVB contract signing ceremony that was held after acquiring the exclusive broadcast rights of the Snow Polo World Cup, Tracy Chu revealed that she will be participating in TVB's "The Hippocratic Crush II".
The beauty queen will be portraying a medical intern who will have a relationship with Lawrence Ng's character in the drama.
When asked about rape scenes, the latest trend that has been plaguing TVB, the enthusiastic newbie stated, "I never thought about that, but I don't exactly want to shoot those kind of scenes. I just want to learn how to be a good doctor."
Tracy continued, "If I really had to shoot a rape scene, then I have no choice. After all, I have no acting experience and this is my debut series, so I hope to keep it simple. I can still accept bathing suit scenes."
In 2012, the Miss Hong Kong Pageant received a lot of complaints from enraged fans who was surprised when Carat Chung won the coveted title. Many believed that the crown belonged to Tracy Chu, who received the highest vote in an online poll conducted by netizens.
