29 Jun – Soon after announcing the participation of actors Kim Kang-woo and Cho Yeo-jang, it was revealed that T-ARA's current leader, So-yeon will be joining the two for the upcoming KBS drama, "Lovers of Haeundae".

According to Allkpop website, her agency, Core Contents Media stated that So-yeon will be portraying a bright and bubbly character named Lee Gwan-sun in the drama.

Meanwhile, the singer herself is determined to bring the best of her acting ability for the drama. She enthused, "Eun-jung has been acting since she was young, while Hyo-min and Ji-yeon have acting experience as well. The members were eager to give me lots of advice, so I will work hard in my first drama role and make sure not to disappoint them."

This drama will be So-yeon's first recurring television role, after her acting stint in the musical "Our Youth Roly-Poly" and the SBS drama, "Giant."

"Love in Haeundae", written by Hwang Eun-kyung of "City Hunter" fame is a 16-episode comedy in which Lee Tae-sung, who suffers from memory loss has to live with So-ran's family. It will air its first episode on 13 August, after Gong Yoo's "Big" wraps up.
