Singapore to see its first online dating show
Funny man Chua Enlai will be hosting Singapore’s first online dating show “It’s a Date!”, which will debut next week. Unlike “The Bachelorette” where several guys will be vying for one girl, the show will offer more equal opportunities of love for both genders, said producer Gillian Tan in a press briefing on Thursday. Six participants – three females and three males – will be featured in each 15-minute episode. They will be asked to go through compatibility tests through activities such as cooking, self-defence, makeovers and dancing. Dating experts from dating agencies accredited by the Social Development Network will observe the participants and provide feedback and advice. Those that find a match by the end of every third episode will be asked to leave and will be replaced by a new set of singles. “It’s a date” will be shown on the website of Clicknetwork.tv every Tuesday, 10pm, starting from 4 June.
